My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 11 Recap
The intensity kicks off with Bakugo being captured by Tomura, prompting everyone to rush to his aid. The Big Three—Mirio, Nejire, and Tamaki—are at the forefront of the rescue. Mirio quickly proves to be crucial in the battle, using his quirk to approach Tomura with relative ease.
The team manages to temporarily get Bakugo out of harm’s way, though not without injury. Despite being battered and exhausted, Bakugo refuses to back down, continuing to strategize even through his tears. The ongoing fight between the Big Three and Tomura is fierce. Although they don’t inflict any life-threatening damage on Tomura, they succeed in keeping him occupied and away from Bakugo. Tomura had singled out Bakugo as a target to hurt Deku by harming his close friend.
In the episode’s second half, things escalate further. The Big Three devise a plan that hinges on Tamaki’s unique quirk. We witness Tamaki undergo a wild transformation, combining the traits of multiple creatures to land a blow on Tomura. However, this proves to be a failure and Tomura mortally wounds Bakugo.
My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 12 Review and Recap
Things have heated up, and the situation seems worse than ever before. On one hand, we have Bakugo, who is already at death’s door and his heart has stopped for good. Best Jeanist tries to repair Bakugo’s heart, but he still can’t do anything to an already battered body. On the other hand, we see Yoichi telling Deku how All For One is becoming more powerful by the minute. And we see it happen when All For One starts to become younger rather than ending up burned in flames.
Apparently, he used a replica of Eri’s quirk, which can restore a person’s health or ability to its former state. By doing this, he goes back to his prime days but also faces a side effect. Ultimately, he will self-destruct, but before that can happen, he plans to go to Tomura and help him get out of the cage that has been specifically constructed for him.
Elsewhere, matters are worse. Dabi is not dead, and he rises back stronger than ever. Not only is he alive, but he managed to stay unscathed by replicating the final move of Shoto. This was sure to happen as even Shoto acknowledged how Dabi became powerful not just by talent but by sheer hard work. His ability to enhance his powers at will has made him re-emerge from his doom.
However, things look especially bleak for the heroes who are fighting Tomura. They know that there is no way they can recover from their position, as now one of their most important heroes, Bakugo, is dying with a damaged heart. But they refused to back down, as we see with Mirko, Mirio and others fighting till the end. At last, Edgeshot takes a final gamble and decides to use his powers to somehow kickstart Bakugo’s heart. But it is not as easy as it sounds because it is taxing for his own health, and Tomura is vehemently trying to stop others from resurrecting Bakugo.
Verdict
The episodes are getting more and more intense. You can feel the urgency amongst the villains and the heroes to get to their goal as soon as possible because none of them can afford to lose. Everyone thinks their goal is right, and only time will tell whether good will reign or evil will prevail.
