We had booked a family room. This was right next to the hotel barrier, the balcony was also the terrace to the driveway. It smelt very musty in the room. We did not accept this room, we were then offered a deluxe bungalow with 2 extra beds, these were comfortable and also wide. The bungalow was nice. We liked the good food. The beach is also wide with lots of surfers. The traffic in Legian and Kuta is catastrophic. Therefore not suitable as a starting point for day trips. Pan-Asian hustle and bustle surrounds the hotel. But the hotel is quiet.
The Fourteen Roses Beach Hotel is in central Legian, steps from the Legian Traditional Art Market and a 5-minute walk from Kuta Beach.

The location was within walking distance for all your personal needs and entertainment. The transport whether by car or scooter is quick and easy to access. I would recommend the bicycle bar taxi as a welcome to Bali activity. There are plenty of tattoo shops if you want some ink. Any type of massage and spa available to meet your needs. Most services do not require an appointment, just walk in and ask or in turn it gets offered to you without you knowing that you actually need it. The food & drinks provided at all restaurants and eateries is well presented and don't have to wait long.

Continental breakfast was pretty average.
Continental breakfast was pretty average.
Internet access dropped out all the time and had to keep signing in.
Had to clean the floor myself with disinfectant wipes before walking on it.
Asked for a walk in shower because of our age. We were given a room with a very high bath you had to climb over.
The shower in the bath was on the side wall not on the end wall. This meant you had to stand sideways in the bath which is quite dangerous.

So much to do in Legian, so much to see.
So much to do in Legian, so much to see. Such a vibrant place with lots going on. Fantastic for shopping and eating out with very cheap prices. Lovely walk to Kuta and Legian beach. A pathway winds along the beach, with many little bars with sun loungers and beach umbrellas to relax and watch to surfies. Beautiful beaches. Night life has plenty going on, the choice is endless, love it!!

The Bali Chaya was a great place out of the noisey areas, was very peaceful and pleasant.
We eat in so many restaurants as there were plenty to choose from all in walking distance.
The only thing I found was a bit of a problem was the long lane way you had to walk down at night time, could do with a lot better lighting.

This is actually my 3rd stay in Legian Village Hotel and I always have a good time. The price is right and the rooms I get, I'm mostly satisfied with.
I always make sure to get a room at Joni 2 instead of Joni 1-- a lot better, more peaceful.
During my stays this year, all staff I asked help from were very gracious. When I asked for a different room because I did not like the vibe of the one I booked, they accommodated my request right away. Staff Dian was most especially helpful with all my requests including helping me find a good bike rental.
Wish I could tip you, Dian, but never saw you at the reception desk :(
Will definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Bali.
Best staff in Bali ( I have stayed in many hotels in Bali). I lost my phone in grab car but the staff went out of their way in helping me to recover the phone. Special mention to Ayu who according to me is the best guest services coordinator. Location is great as well as the hotel is right in the centre of Legian, close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended 😀
Excellent, brillant, enormously helpful, service-oriented and very reliable Ladies and Gentlemen at the Reception of this Hotel Ammara Legian By Vilarisi in Legian near Kuta Beach in beautiful and spiritual Bali, Indonesian 17,000 islands Archipelago.

LOVED the location as so close to the beach, great restaurants, transport, shopping and also close to both Seminyak and Kuta.
Staff very friendly and the grounds traditionally Bali. Our room was not close to the pool as requested however it was so quiet that we enjoyed it more.
