Chatauqua is the most peaceful, beautiful historic healing Resort in America as far as I’m concerned, thank you so much. The staff, especially Melanie, were incredibly helpful and kind to me. Being able to wake up, have tea on your patio and hike in the gorgeous mountains is a gift along with the flowers in the gardens. I definitely recommend the dining hall. The food is scrumptious !! And excellent it rained for a unique experience. I return multiple times a year. See you soon.!

Jimmy at the front desk was very courteous, friendly, and helpful!! It was clean and comfortable. It's an older building but kept up pretty well. We even enjoyed the hot tub. We loved the nearby small town of Niwock, where we enjoyed a wonderful Italian meal!

Basecamp Boulder, hotel in Boulder

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Boulder, Basecamp Hotel, is walking distance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and Naropa University.

Great breakfast and the nicest most accommodating staff. The hotel is understaffed and it took a long time to check in due to 1-staff coverage. We tended to wait for every amenity — it felt like we were imposing to ask for included amenities. Great location. Prices were solid for beers and food.

I lived there 50 years ago so went back to see my old haunts, the Flatirons, and to drive up Flagstaff Mountain and on to Boulder Falls and Nederland. My, how it's changed! I worked at the court house on Pearl Street and now it's a walking mall! I lived there just as the Book Store opened and Celestial Seasonings was new. I worked at Leanin' Tree Greeting Card Company when it was in an old house on Pearl Street. I was going to go see it in its newer digs, but the woman at Celestial Seasonings said they moved to Mede (sp?). Everything was crowded in town because there was a football game on Thursday. We went back to the mall in the evening and it was nice. I went for the memories.

Boulder was easy to get around in. Pleasant to walk around. Plenty of things to do and see. Fair Winds Hot Air Balloons is highly recommended!! Pearl Street Mall is a nice feature. The Garage Sale Vintage store/restaurant is awesome. See Matt at Boulder Therapeutics for great body work. Morning Glory has a really good breakfast. The Laughing Goat has good coffee and quiche. Those Flatirons - beautiful!

    Boulder is awesome!

Boulder is awesome! UC is a great campus and Pearl St was lots of fun. We found great restaurants and bars, it wasn't too crowded, and we walked everywhere. There are mountain hikes within 10 mins of town, and the weather is splendid. The airport is 45 mins away and Red Rocks is about the same.

Traffic can be a headache during peak hours so we would recommend traveling in the off peak times to sightsee etc. It's definitely not the midwest, people seemed snobby or rude most places and looked at me funny when I said excuse me if I walked by anyone in a tight area. No-one else excused themselves or tried to avoid colliding down the busy morning sidewalks downtown or in shops/restaurants. My adult daughter stated it's because we are from the midwest & people do things diff here.

The location was ideal. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. Breakfast was eclectic and all personal preferences were kindly met. The personal attention given by the staff was impressive and appreciated. The large lounge area was a big plus, particularly the snug seating in the library area. Computer and printing availability was useful.
