We stayed for 4 nights which was just the right amount of time to see the major sights, although there's obviously lots more. As history lovers we did a bike tour based on the Berlin Wall, visited the Reichstag, Brandenburger Tor, Holocaust Museum, Topographie of Terrors, East Side Gallery and the DDR museum. Walked for miles and loved it all. Definitely worth a trip.

Berlin had so much to offer with it’s vast array of beautiful historic & modern buildings. We took the hop on & hop off bus around the city and also a boat trip along the River Spree. Particularly loved the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag Parliament building. Great views from the top. Also visited Berlin Cathedral which was stunning as well as many museums too. We had an evening meal at the top of the TV Tower, which was very enjoyable. We walked everywhere, apart from the bus & boat trip that we took. Lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from too. Really loved Berlin. One of my favourite cities!!

berlin is a great city to visit for architecture, culture and history. I found the German people very welcoming and friendly and would recommend Berlin as a city to visit for a longer period than 3 days. so much to do and see. I would defo come back and visit. The city is great to walk from one district to another but remember they have cycle lanes on the pedestrian bits so remember to keep in line of the perimeters. great time in Berlin and The berliners should be proud of their city

Berlin's trains are extensive and will take you anywhere you want to go. They are rundown and unreliable but another is coming in 15 minutes so happy days. Very few public toilets in Berlin and they cost 50 cents to a euro, so plan for that in your travels. Berlin is an amazing place. Coffee cost similar to a small beer and they have great beer not great coffee. There is so much to see and do, Berliners do not offer help but will usually give accurate information if asked. Food is plentiful and of good quality from street stalls to fine restaurants. Once I got used to the transport systems I loved my time there. NB: DB rail the German railways is one of the worst in the world and I didnt have one trip that went well. Of my 3 journeys not one had a working toilet. The staff on the trains are very rude and unhelpful and show a disgust for anyone not german. Not one German person I spoke to had a kind word for the DB and all thought that it was a very disappointing that it was German. This introduction to Germany almost derailed what was an excellent holiday for my partner and myself.

The only really big city in this region.

The only really big city in this region. Berlin is very eclectic and modern. It has great transportation system, lots of museums, parks, and shops. The atmosphere is very international, diverse and tourist-friendly. It's worth taking a walk in Tiergarten or along the wide streets of the city and visiting some interesting museums. Although suffered a lot in the past, Berlin is a good place to enjoy life now. Take care: Berlin can become a bit too gloomy and windy in winter. But in summer it is cool and pleasant.

The breakfast was very simple, but had everything I could possibly need. It was a little further out from the typical berlin 'city centre' but the LIME scooters or bikes were very handy and I used them a lot during my stay. My room was perfect size for a solo traveller, and it was lovely and clean. I loved the location, and how close the hotel is to the Berlin Wall Gallery.
