The Washington Mystics (4-13) are hosting the Connecticut Sun (13-3) tomorrow night. Here’s all of the information ahead of tomorrow’s game.

Game info

When and where: 7 p.m. EST on Thursday, June 27 at Entertainment & Sports Arena in DC.

How to watch: NBA TV or Monumental Sports Network.

Injuries:

Mystics—Shakira Austin (OUT, illness/hip); Aaliyah Edwards (DAY-TO-DAY, back); Brittney Sykes (OUT, foot); Karlie Samuelson (OUT).

Sun—Moriah Jefferson (OUT, ankle).

What to watch for

  • The Mystics are far better at home than on the road. Their wining percentage at home this season is .375, while it’s just .111 on the road.
  • The Sun are the second best team in the W behind only the New York Liberty. They have five double-digit per game scorers on the roster. However, Connecticut has lost back-to-back games after an incredibly hot start to the season.
  • The Mystics have won four of their last five games, including two back-to-back blowouts against the free falling Dallas Wings. Washington is by no means a playoff-caliber team, but they are looking a lot more competent and steady as the midpoint of the season approaches.
  • Aaliyah Edwards is putting together an All-Rookie campaign, averaging 8.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game on 50% shooting from the field. The Rookie of the Year race is down to Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark, but Aaliyah Edwards is slotted comfortably in third.
