"The Threesome Scene Gets Me Every Time" – Here Are Some Of The Steamiest Movies People Have Ever Seen

Richard Linklater and Glen Powell’s neo-noir rom-com has plenty of heat thanks to Powell’s chemistry with Adria Arjona, who serves a modern take on the femme fatale. Their characters, Glen and Madison, both have a bit of twisted darkness to them, and it only makes their not-quite-but-almost explicit all the better.

We’re used to Zendaya lighting up a screen, but the sparks elicited by her, Josh O’Connor, and Mike Faist in Challengers generate enough electricity to power the Empire State Building. And that’s despite the sexy scenes staying roughly in PG-13 territory (it does earn its R-rating with copious F-bombs).

What made this sequel better than its predecessor was the conscious and emphatic choice to focus entirely on the pleasure of its female characters and viewers. The plot is thin, but with 12 dance numbers sprinkled throughout the proceeding, you will wish it was thinner. 

Rose’s hand hitting that steamy car window is one of the most erotic gestures committed to film, and so is the following exchange. 

Rose: Jack, I want you to draw me like one of your French girls. Wearing this... 

Jack: All right. 

Rose: Wearing *only* this.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire is a gorgeous movie about longing and loving from a distance. Still, the few happy days Marianne and Héloïse spend together are enhanced by several sexual encounters that are as emotional as they are hot.

Casino Royale only has one extended make-out scene between its gorgeous leads, but Daniel Craig and Eva Green’s individual sexiness makes up for it. And of course, the steamiest scene in the movie is when Bond sucks the blood off Vesper’s fingers with his mouth. Whew.

There aren’t any sex scenes in Closer. Even Natalie Portman’s iconic strip scene uses camera tricks to keep from revealing anything. But the four leads have frequent, graphic, explosive conversations about sex and infidelity that are, frankly, more arousing than they should be.

Jennifer Lopez doing a stripper routine complete with pole work to Fiona Apple’s “Criminal.” Nothing has ever been sexier. As for the financial crimes? Also sexy, sorry.

How Stella Got Her Groove Back has a couple of great sexy scenes, one of which you’d qualify as a proper sex scene even though it’s shown from the shoulders up. But mainly the sexiness comes from Angela Bassett and Taye Diggs, two beautiful people with great chemistry, simply stepping in front of the camera.

The movie itself doesn’t have sex scenes, but no Almodovar movie is devoid of sex appeal. In the case of his “deliriously deranged comedy,” the sensuality is more suggestive but just as effective.
