Theories that they're dating only skyrocketed after the actor appeared as the love interest in Sabrina's music video for her No. 1 song, "Please Please Please," earlier this month.
According to the music video's director, Bardia Zeinali, Barry was a total saint on set.
In the video, Sabrina meets Barry at a jail where she's being bailed out, and he's being booked.
The rest of the video chronicles this Bonnie-and-Clyde-esque relationship that eventually goes south, including a scene where Sabrina reluctantly stands by as Barry beats up a bunch of guys.
As Zeinali told IndieWire in an interview published on Wednesday, Keoghan came in a day early from filming to prep the fight scene, which was only one take.
“He was really aware that it’s Sabrina’s video, it’s Sabrina’s day, he didn’t want to be the one that’s holding up a shot or taking too much time or space,” Zeinali told the publication. Good for Barry!
Both Sabrina and Barry have largely shied away from discussing the other in the press; however, the singer recently opened up about alluding to him during her signature freestyle outro on the song "Nonsense" while performing at Coachella in April.
"Made his knees so weak, he had to spread mine / He's drinkin' my bathwater like it's red wine," she sang, subtly nodding to an infamous scene in Barry's film Saltburn where he drinks another character's bathwater.
Sabrina told Vanity Fair in an interview earlier this month that she didn't inform Barry of that "Nonsense" outro ahead of time. "Maybe I should do that. I guess it's a little too late now," she said.
