ROH TV title bout to main event CMLL show

The Forbidden Door continues to create interesting moments between AEW and CMLL. Notable highlights include Mistico debuting in an AEW ring, the Blackpool Combat Club traveling to fight in Arena Mexico, Bryan Danielson wrestling his favorite luchador, and Mercedes Moné making a surprise appearance to confront Stephanie Vaquer. The latest development in this relationship is the ROH World Television Championship being defended in the main event of a CMLL show.

Kyle Fletcher will put the ROH TV title on the line against Atlantis Jr. to headline CMLL’s Friday show this week on June 28 in Arena Mexico.

The match was set up when Atlantis Jr. issued a challenge on an episode of ROH TV.

Fletcher handled his business inside the ring in ROH, then he answered the call in a promo airing on CMLL Fantasticamania Mexico. The Protostar was game for the challenge on his quest to develop into the best in the world. CMLL made the match official. Simple as that.

The full CMLL card for Friday night includes:

  • ROH World Television Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Atlantis Jr.
  • Mistico, Volador Jr., & Esfinge vs. Averno, Angel de Oro, & Euforia
  • Titan & Templario vs. Ultimo Guerrero & Star Jr.
  • Tessa Blanchard, Lluvia, & Skadi vs. Stephanie Vaquer, Zeuxis, & Persephone
  • Futuro & Max Star vs. Raider & Vegas.
  • Kemalito, Chamuel, & Micro Sagrada vs. Micro Gemelo Diablo 1, Micro Gemelo Diablo 2, & Tengu

This show can be streamed live through the “Campeón Mundial” and “Leyenda” subscription tiers on CMLL’s YouTube channel.
