Cageside Community Wrestler Rankings, Season 13: Week 8 results & Week 9 vote

@JordynneGrace

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling — Wrestler Rankings are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the five performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for the Cageside Cup, given to our Performer of the Year.

This week, we’re voting on nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows that took place June 2-8, 2024 — Raw, NXT, Powerrr, Speed, Dynamite, Impact, Fusion, ROH on HonorClub, SmackDown, Level Up, Collision, Rampage, New Japan’s last Best of the Super Jrs. show, and everything else I’m no doubt forgetting.

But first, here’s the outcome of last week’s voting, and how those results changed our annual competition for the Cageside Cup.

It was one hell of a moment...

... and the TNA Knockouts champ’s NXT debut earned her the top spot in our latest Rankings.

  • In doing so, she beat out two former TNA standouts now working for WWE: one who pulled a Mark Henry for another title shot, and another who showed up in the PC to start his own championship program not long after Roxanne Perez met her next challenger.
  • Those moments were followed by a pair of new AEW champions, as two of Tony Khan’s big free agent acquisitions captured gold at Double or Nothing.
  • Our sixth place finisher was already WWE Women’s World champ heading into the week in question, but after watching her retain and continue her pursuit of Dirty Dom... she still got our votes.
  • After that, it was back to A-E-Dub for the rest of our latest Top Ten with two champs who retained on PPV, a Powerful Babe we love even though she lost her title (and her best friend), and a Scapegoat we hate but have to tip our hat to after he got set on fire but still got the pin in Anarchy in the Arena.

Ready to do it again? You can always check the “how to” here if you need it, or ask a question in the comments. The main things you need to know are you have five spots on your ballot, you can’t put the same person in two of them, but you can split a single or multiple spots between multiple wrestlers. Now...

Let’s have those ballots! We’ll take it from there, and see you back here in a week for the results and another vote!
