AEW Dynamite loses to NXT in the ratings again

AEW Dynamite

The ratings and viewership data are in for this week’s (July 10) episode of AEW Dynamite.

Per Wrestlenomics, Dynamite netted 691,000 viewers and a 0.23 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic. These numbers are nearly identical to last week’s 688K and 0.23, respectively.

This is the second time over the last four weeks where Dynamite drew a lower demo rating than Tuesday night’s NXT show (656K / 0.24). Perhaps this will become the normal result if WWE decides to keep saying Joe Hendry’s name.

Tony Khan is loading up next week’s Dynamite card with MJF vs. Will Ospreay for the International title and Swerve Strickland vs. Kazuchika Okada in a champion versus champion match. Blood & Guts takes place the week after that, so it will be very interesting to see how the ratings respond to two of the biggest Dynamite cards of the year.

Here’s a breakdown of AEW Dynamite viewership and rating in the 18-49 demo over the last year:
