Dressed as Timeless Toni Storm, May declares AEW is now ‘All About Mariah’

Last week’s Dynamite ended with Mariah May winning the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, and then attacking the World champion she’ll won the right to challenge at All In. That was particularly noteworthy as that World champion is May’s mentor, friend, and lover Timeless Toni Storm.

Other than being informed earlier on this week’s show that Storm needed stitches as a result of the attack, we hadn’t heard much from either women. But we were told we’d hear from May on July 17, and we did... but not before we saw her in her own version of the Timeless gimmick (she wasn’t in black & white throughout though).

After really pissing off Tony Schiavone...

... May finally spoke, saying everyone saw her turn coming, except for Storm. That’s because Toni was so desperate for the spotlight, she didn’t realize she was giving it all away. Mariah thinks our question shouldn’t be why, but what took so long. She didn’t think it would take this long either, but it was so easy — and so fun to string the champ alone.

But when she saw Wembley Stadium on the horizon, she thought “Why take the old horse out back when I can kill it in front of as many people as possible?”

The femme fatale then said she never loved Storm more than she did last week, when she was on her knees, bleeding and screaming her name. And now that she’s proven she can be Timeless Toni Storm, she can be anyone. May then closed it out with a version of the classic movie that helped inspire the storyline, declaring that AEW is now “All About Mariah”.
