The Division of Natural Resources also manages areas to protect the natural and cultural resources of the county. These facilities are open daily, dawn to dusk. 

Calvert Nature Society relies on donations and membership dues to provide meaningful nature education experiences, support an active volunteer corps, and preserve Calvert's natural and cultural heritage. Donate today.

  • $150 supports equipment and supplies for nature education programs

  • $100 provides materials for volunteer projects in the parks

  • $500 supports our efforts to preserve and protect land in Calvert County

  • Any amount directly funds the stewardship and conservation efforts in Calvert County's nature parks

College juniors and seniors and recent graduates needed for Fall 2024.  We have two levels of internships; paid stipend or volunteer.
