Monday's weather forecast

A Heat Advisory has been issued from 10 a.m. Monday through Tuesday at 8 p.m. for the majority of the region.

A heat advisory will be in place from early Monday until Tuesday night. CBS2

CBS New York's Vanessa Murdock says the mercury should top out in the low 90s, but the "feels like" temperature will be more like 95-104.

Looking ahead

Scattered shower/storm chances return Tuesday and continue right into next weekend. It doesn't look like any day is a washout, but heavy rain is possible with any storm as we get into the second half of the week.
