Tornadoes pound Michigan, Maryland, as heat wave strikes the Southwest
Suspected tornadoes slammed homes in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Livonia, Michigan, two states outside what's known as "Tornado Alley," which appears to be shifting east, according to a new study. Meanwhile, a heat wave is affecting thousands in Las Vegas, Nevada. CBS News' Nicole Sganga and Ben Tracy report.
