Jokic tallied 19 points (7-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, 11 assists, one block and one steal across 38 minutes in Saturday's 93-83 win over Germany in the bronze medal game of the Paris Olympics.
Jokic posted the fifth ever Olympic triple-double as Serbia cruised past Germany for a bronze medal. The three-time NBA MVP did it all for Serbia in their Olympic campaign, and he had game highs in points, rebounds and assists to secure the bronze medal. In six Olympic appearances, the 29-year-old averaged 18.8 points, 10.7 rebounds, 8.7 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks across 32.7 minutes per game.

Jokic collected 17 points (7-17 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 assists, five rebounds, one steal and one block in 38 minutes during Thursday's 95-91 semifinal loss to Team USA.
Unsurprisingly, Jokic played all but two minutes in Thursday's semifinal game. Despite registering an impressive stat line while Serbia owned a 17-point lead at one point, Jokic's effort wasn't enough to hold off Team USA. Serbia is set to face Germany for the bronze medal.

Jokic posted 22 points (7-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 7-12 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists and one block across 27 minutes in Serbia's 96-85 win over South Sudan in the Paris Olympics on Saturday.
Jokic produced a near double-double with 14 points and eight boards by the end of the first half alone. The three-time NBA MVP continued to dominate the entire contest with no one for South Sudan being able to stop him in the paint, and he was able to get to the charity stripe at will. The 29-year-old averaged 18.7 points, 11.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 2.0 steals across 27.0 minutes in three group-phase matches.

Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Inks two-way deal with Denver
The Nuggets signed Jones to a two-way contract Tuesday, Adam Mares of DenverStiffs.com reports.
Jones takes the Nuggets' third and final two-way spot for next season. The 23-year-old spent five years at Stanford and is the university's leader in made three-pointers, shooting 39.7 percent from deep. Jones averaged 11.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals across 29.0 minutes in 25 regular-season games in his final collegiate season.

Jokic ended with 20 points (8-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight assists, five rebounds and four steals across 31 minutes in Serbia's 110-84 loss to the United States in the Paris Olympics on Sunday.
Jokic led Serbia in points, assists and steals in Sunday's loss to Team USA while displaying an impressive plus-minus of zero in the blowout loss. The superstar was spectacular in the squad's group-phase debut, but that did not stop a loss to the star-studded roster of the United States. The three-time NBA MVP will continue to serve as the No. 1 option for Serbia alongside Bogdan Bogdanovic, as the squad attempts to win out in the remainder of the group phase.

Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Headed to Denver
The Nuggets signed Westbrook to a two-year, $6.8 million contract Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Westbrook was traded from the Clippers to the Jazz earlier this offseason. The veteran guard was then waived and has now joined the Nuggets after clearing waivers, as expected. In 2023-24, Westbrook averaged 11.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 22.5 minutes across 68 regular-season appearances. In Denver, the 35-year-old point guard will likely earn the backup point guard role to Jamal Murray.

Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Shut down for Summer League
The Nuggets announced Tuesday that Strawther will not play for the remainder of the Summer League, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports.
Strawther hasn't suffered any injury but will sit out the remainder of the Summer League after impressing in his first two outings, averaging 28.5 points. The second-year forward will now allow younger and more inexperienced players to receive increased playing time while he focuses on working toward a more consistent role in Denver's rotation in 2024-25.
