  • Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Leads Greece to victory

Antetokounmpo tallied 20 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-7 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and two steals in 33 minutes during Friday's 77-71 win over Australia in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Antetokounmpo led Greece in minutes, points and rebounds during Friday's victory. The superstar forward is the national team's focal point and got to the rim at will against Australia. While Antetokounmpo led Greece to its first win of the Olympics, they will need to win on point differential to advance to the quarterfinal round.

  • Bucks' Anzejs Pasecniks: Lands with Milwaukee

Pasecniks agreed to a two-way deal with the Bucks on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Pasecniks spent time with Washington during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons and averaged 2.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 11.1 minutes per game over 28 appearances. He'll have a chance to compete for a role with the Bucks on a deal that will allow him to move between the G League and parent club easily.

  • Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Scores 34 points in Olympic debut

Antetokounmpo recorded 34 points (11-17 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 12-15 FT), five rebounds and two assists in Saturday's 86-79 loss to Canada in Group A of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Antetokounmpo was an unstoppable force for the Canadian team on the defensive end, but he wasn't able to carry the team to victory on his own, as no other Greek player reached the 20-point mark. It's not a surprise to see Antetokounmpo operating as Greece's go-to player on offense while handling a big usage rate, and that will undoubtedly be the case in the team's second game of the group stage against Spain on Tuesday.

  • Bucks' Andre Jackson: Undergoes surgery

The Bucks announced Friday that Jackson underwent successful surgery to repair a fracture of his left third finger that occurred during Tuesday's Summer League game against the Clippers but is expected to be a full participant in training camp.

Jackson saw a minimal role in his rookie year, averaging 2.2 points and 2.0 rebounds in 10.0 minutes across 57 regular-season appearances. While Jackson is expected to head into the 2024-25 campaign healthy, he will likely compete for depth minutes in Milwaukee's forward rotation yet again.

  • Bucks' James Akinjo: Back in action

Akinjo recorded one assist in five minutes during Sunday's 112-81 Summer League loss to the Cavaliers.

Akinjo missed the end of the Wisconsin Herd's G League campaign due to an undisclosed injury but has returned to action during Summer League with the Bucks. This was Akinjo's Summer League debut this year, as he hasn't been a regular part of the Bucks' rotation.

  • Bucks' Khris Middleton: Undergoes surgery on both ankles

Middleton underwent an arthroscopic clean-up procedure on each ankle during the offseason, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Middleton had left ankle surgery shortly after Milwaukee's playoff exit, then had his right ankle operated on in mid-June. The surgeries were deemed a success and were necessary to help Middleton get rid of his lingering soreness in both. The good news for the Bucks is that Middleton is expected to be ready for the start of the 2024-25 campaign. During the 2023-24 regular season, Middleton was limited to 55 games and produced averages of 15.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.7 three-pointers.

  • Bucks' Gary Trent: Joins Milwaukee on one-year deal

Trent and the Bucks agreed to a one-year deal Tuesday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Terms of the deal have yet to be reported, but given Milwaukee's cap situation, Trent likely agreed to this deal for a massive discount as he pursues a championship with the Bucks. Milwaukee's roster was in desperate need of some backcourt depth and perimeter shooting, and it's likely that Trent will play a key role for this team. Still only 25 years old, Trent holds career regular-season averages of 14.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.5 three-pointers.

  • Bucks' MarJon Beauchamp: Double-doubles in Summer League

Beauchamp recorded 19 points (6-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block across 28 minutes of Sunday's 112-81 loss to the Cavaliers.

Beauchamp chipped in 22 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals Friday in Milwaukee's Summer League opener, and he followed up the performance with a double-double Sunday. While Beauchamp did lead the team in points, he committed seven turnovers and shot 37.5 percent from the field.

  • Bucks' Jaylin Galloway: Healthy for Summer League

Galloway (ankle) is averaging 1.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.5 blocks over 12.5 minutes per game in two Summer League games with the Bucks.

Galloway dealt with a sprained right ankle down the stretch of the 2023-24 regular season, but has recovered from the injury in time for Summer League. Galloway spent last season on a two-way contract with Milwaukee.

  • Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Qualifies for Paris Olympics

Antetokounmpo tallied 23 points (8-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-10 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block Sunday in the Greek national team's 80-69 win over Croatia in a FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament game.

With the win, Greece earned a spot in the 2024 Summer Games in Paris, giving Antetokounmpo the opportunity to represent his home country in the Olympics for the first time in his international career. The two-time NBA MVP will thus be in store for a busy offseason, after he had missed the final three games of the regular season as well as the entirety of the Bucks' playoff run due to a left soleus strain. Greece will make its first basketball appearance in the Olympics since 2008 on July 27, when the team takes on Canada.
