That Shooting Guard on the Mavericks

I just want to go on record with my thoughts about that shooting guard in the Dallas Mavericks.

I have seen a few people making comments that it is "time to move on".

If my memory serves me correctly, said shooting guard was involved in the following incidents:

1. Promising Celtics fans he would be a Celtic for life, if we would have him.

2. Making a television commercial which essentially said the same thing.

3. Quitting on the team in the Eastern Conference semi-finals against Milwaukee (seriously huge no-go).

4. Creating bad blood within the locker room as he "called out" other team members after losses (and this especially irks me as he went after my beloved JB {MVP}).

I also note here his post Game 5 press conference where he asked if JB won the MVP and then when told he had, he quickly stated that he thought JB and JT should have shared the award. Talk about a back handed compliment and another veiled dig at JB.

5. He lost us Big Al for two seasons.

6. He pompously paraded around the TD Garden court waving his sage smoke to "rid any bad karma".

7. Then, the ultimate Boston Celtic sacrilege, he had the audacity to stamp his foot on Lucky's emblem at mid-court, SERIOUSLY ????, what a schmuck.

Some people, who are far better human beings than me, may be able to move on from all of the above.

I will never forget the "shooting guard on the Mavericks" experience and I will never forgive him for the destructive force he was as a Celtic.

Talk about karma biting you in the butt, he was seriously spooked in the Garden and Red will ensure that the curse he brought upon himself by defiling Lucky, will last for the rest of his NBA career.

God bless you Red and God Bless the TD Garden fans who constantly reminded the shooting guard on the Mavericks, that the Boston fans have not forgotten his impact on the organisation.

For me, the shooting guard on the Dallas Mavericks was, is and always will be, Boston Celtic enemy No.1.

Rant over.

Still tripping from Banner 18 and my Championship T-shirt got delivered a couple of days ago.

Life is good.

Go the Green !!!!

Cheers

Aussie
