Say it with me now... She's the only number 10 in town for a reason.

They say good things come in threes, but for the women of Roma, good things came in fives this season. After winning the Scudetto by a double-digit margin over their former tormentors, Juventus, Roma did the double by defeating Fiorentina to claim the Coppa Italia in a dramatic penalty round victory. But the Giallorossi weren't done collecting palmares just yet.

Earlier today, the league announced its list of post-season awards, which included recognition for Evelyne Viens as the best attacker and Elena Linari as the best defender. Viens had an impressive first season in Italy, scoring a league-leading 13 goals and contributing six assists. This performance tied her with Valentina Giacinti for the league lead in combined scoring (goals and assists). Linari, who also scored seven goals, was honored as the top defender in Serie A for her role in leading Roma to the best defensive record in the league.

But the big prize went to Manuela Giugliano, who was named league MVP:

In 25 appearances this season, Giugliano scored 10 goals and provided seven assists while playing 145 balls into the final third (tops in the league) and 55 passes into the penalty area (second in the league). She also chipped in a league-leading 88 key passes, 26 more than her closest competitor, Fiorentina's Veronica Boquete, whom she also lapped in shot-creating actions (168 vs. 113) and goal-creating actions (23 vs. 15). Giugliano also led the league in total shots, with 88 attempts on goal.

It's no stretch to say that Giugliano is playing some of the best football the capital has ever seen, and at only 26 years old, she won't be slowing down anytime soon.
