U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo awards the President's "E" Award, the highest honor given to U.S. exporters, to Cimcor Inc., a cybersecurity and compliance software development firm from Indiana. 

Merrillville, IN—The U.S. Department of Commerce honored Cimcor, Inc., a leading cybersecurity and compliance software development firm from Merrillville, Indiana, with the President's "E" Award for its remarkable contributions to exports. Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo presented the award to Cimcor at a ceremony in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, May 14th. 

Created by executive order of President John F. Kennedy in 1961, the "E" (Export) Award is the highest recognition a U.S. entity can receive for making a significant contribution to the expansion of U.S. exports. Winners of this prestigious award must demonstrate measurable export growth, innovation, sustainability, and broaden the overall expansion of U.S. exports. 

"Cimcor has demonstrated a sustained commitment to export expansion. The "E" Awards Committee was very impressed with Cimcor's exports to 47 markets over the past four years. The company's flexibility in adapting product design and features for export markets was also notable," said Secretary Raimondo in her congratulatory letter to the company announcing its selection. Only 30 companies received the President's "E" Award for Exports this year, and Cimcor is the sole recipient from Indiana.
