Andrei Iosivas and Chase Brown impressed an NFL trainer with their offseason development

Is a big Year 2 in store for Iosivas and Brown?

The Cincinnati Bengals have high hopes heading into the 2024 season with Joe Burrow returning from injury, a (hopefully) improved offensive line, and some skill position changes that will bring a more diverse offensive attack.

However, looking at two names the Bengals already had in the organization, a big Year 2 jump from them could take this team to an entirely different level.

Wide receiver Andrei Iosivas and running back Chase Brown spent the offseason together working with renowned receiver coach Drew Lieberman in hopes of making big leaps in 2024.

Lieberman has trained the likes of Brandon Aiyuk, Evan Engram, and many more that have gotten significantly better as a result of working with him.

As for Iosivas and Brown, Lieberman raved about the improvements both players made this offseason in an interview with The Athletic.

“I would say Andrei and Chase made the fastest improvement of any players I’ve ever had in the program of 15 years doing this. This is year seven at the NFL level,” Lieberman said.

“I’ve never had two players improve faster.”

Iosivas had an impressive rookie season in limited action as he hauled in 4 touchdowns. However, he is already looking like he is prepared to take that next step forward this season.

As for Brown, he will be counted on in the passing game, with new running back Zack Moss getting the majority of the handoffs, and Lieberman had nothing but high praise for Brown as a pass catcher.

“Chase looked like a running back when I started with him,” Lieberman said, “like an uncoordinated route runner. Now this guy looks like a starting slot receiver in the NFL.”

As we get closer to the start of the 2024 season, I think the excitement is only going to continue to grow around this team and the potential they have of getting back to the biggest stage in football.
