CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns are reportedly linked to defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, who just concluded his fifth season in Miami. Is Wilkins a legit player for the Browns to target?

The five-year veteran has steadily improved and help ed Miami’s defense play well through consecutive playoff appearances. Wilkins put up a career-high 98 tackles, and a solid 3.5 sacks during the 2022 season, and logged three tackles and one sack during their short playoff campaign.
Despite the productive play, Wilkins had only logged 11.5 sacks through his first four seasons in the league. He came a bit close to matching with a career-high nine sacks during last season, along with a solid 65 tackles.
Among defensive tackles, he finished the regular season ranked 24th in overall defensive grading (74.9), 16th in run defense (71.5) and tied for 32nd in pass rushing (72.8), per Pro Football Focus.
