Burglar takes nothing from home, but leaves something behind: Brunswick Police Blotter

BRUNSWICK --- Breaking and entering, Simons Drive: A woman reported that an unknown person or persons forced entry into her house some time between 7:30 p.m. June 18 and 1:13 p.m. June 22. The house is currently under foreclosure. Entry was made by using a crowbar on a rear window. Nothing was taken from the house, since it has been vacant for some time. However, suspected human feces was located in a plastic tote inside the house.

Disorderly conduct, Hadcock Road: A man was cited for disorderly conduct at 8:05 a.m. June 24 when police received a call from Woodgate Apartments of a man knocking on windows, ringing buzzers and shouting on the property for "Amber". Police had warned the man previously on a similar call. According to reports, the man was "distraught" when talking to officers and he was later taken home.

Criminal Damaging, Quarry Lane: A man reported the tires slashed on his work truck overnight June 25 while the truck was parked in a driveway in the 4300 block of Quarry Lane. There were no suspects at the time of the report.

Disorderly conduct, Center Road: A clerk at a Shell gas station called police at 1:31 a.m. June 23 to report two men shouting and pushing each other in the parking lot. Police found both men intoxicated and arguing over making a trip back to Indiana. An open bottle of Crown Royal whiskey was found inside the car the men were driving. They were both cited for disorderly conduct and one was cited for open container. They were later released to a taxi to take theme to a local hotel.
