Mother and son arrested for assault and attempted murder: Brunswick Hills Police Blotter

Assault, Pearl Road: Police arrested a man and a woman for assault, criminal endangering, and attempted aggravated murder at 12:26 a.m. June 1. Officers were called to the house for a disturbance and found that the suspects had assaulted and tried to abduct the pregnant victim from her home. The suspects - a 40-year-old Medina woman and her 23-year-old son, of Brunswick - were taken to the Medina County Jail.

Theft, Pearl Road: A man reported his truck stolen from his property at 7:35 p.m. June 5. The victim said he first noticed the truck missing at 4:30 a.m. the day before. The victim and a witness reported seeing a "white man with short blond hair" June 3, walking on the property and supposedly waiting for a ride.

Theft, Country Way: A man reported more than $2,300 worth of jewelry stolen at 3:51 p.m. June 4. The victim suspects his son of stealing and pawning the items at a store in Strongsville. The victim said when he was at the store, an employee recognized the victim's son and provided receipts from sales the suspect had made at the store. Police had been unable to contact the store at the time of the report.
