Landlord reports damage to no-parking signs: Brunswick Hills Police Blotter

BRUNSWICK HILLS --- Criminal damaging, Pearl Road: A property manager at a rental property reported finding three no-parking signs damaged, with the top and bottom portions of the signs torn from their posts, at 10:34 a.m. Dec. 6. The tenants at the property told police they did not see anyone damage the signs.

Criminal trespassing, Center Road: An employer called police at 4 p.m. Dec. 8 to report that a former employee had come onto the property and taken several items, including a company credit card and two sets of keys. The suspect was contacted by police and warned not to go onto the property. The suspect made arrangements to drop off the items belonging to the business at the township police station and police later accompanied her to the business to pick up items belonging to her.

Marijuana possession, Center Road: Police pulled over a driver at 12:24 a.m. Dec. 11 for traveling with his high-beam headlights on. The officer called in a K9 unit when he smelled marijuana inside the car. The driver admitted to having pot in his pants pocket and was cited.
