Cleveland's Department of Public Health has lost four of its seven epidemiologists at the worst of times, when coronavirus infections are spiking in the city and across the state.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland’s Department of Public Health has lost four of its seven epidemiologists at the worst of times, when coronavirus infections are spiking in the city and across the state.

Mayor Frank Jackson and Health Director Brian Kimball disclosed the staff problems in an interview with cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer, but said the vacancies do not hamper efforts to deal with the pandemic.
