Disorderly conduct: Millcreek Boulevard

Police responded to a reported argument between a man and a woman at 1:49 a.m. Nov. 24. The man admitted that he had been in an argument with his girlfriend, that he had been drinking and that he was on probation.

When officers arrived, the man was about to smash the woman’s television with a toy truck. He was calmed by officers and admitted to breaking other items belonging to the woman and urinating on her couch.

Both the man and the woman denied any physical confrontation between them. The man failed a Breathalyzer test and was taken to the Medina County Jail, where he was charged with persistent disorderly conduct.

Drunken driver: Substation Road

A driver was pulled over at 11:47 p.m. Nov. 19 for traveling 57 mph in a 45 mph zone. Police reported that the driver appeared “confused to where he was going and coming from.”

He admitted to drinking “four or five” beers at a bowling alley that night, and he failed field sobriety tests. He refused a breath test and was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while impaired, refusing to take a breath test and driving without a seatbelt.

His car was towed and he was picked up by his son.

Drug possession: Substation Road

A driver was pulled over at 11:40 p.m. Nov. 22 for traveling outside her lane twice. The driver gave permission for the officer to search her car, and four orange-colored pills were found inside a headphones case inside her purse.

The woman said the pills were Adderall to treat her attention deficit disorder, but she did not have a prescription for the medication. The pills were taken into evidence and the woman was given a warning on the traffic violation.

Driving under suspension: Sleepy Hollow Road

A driver was pulled over at 2:24 a.m. Nov. 23 for driving with a suspended license. Police confirmed that the man driving the car was the suspended driver. He was cited and released.
