Medina County Office for Older Adults is not a COVID-19 testing site

MEDINA, Ohio -- Due to an unknown mix-up, several people have recently been directed to the Medina County Office for Older Adults and have shown up to be tested for COVID-19.

The office is not a COVID testing site.

“We strive to keep our senior clients safe, and having people coming in who may be positive for the virus is of great concern,” said Joanne Meincke, media/activities supervisor for the Medina County Office for Older Adults.

“Even if your medical provider directs you to schedule a test online and even if you get a confirmation, it is not valid, as there is no testing being done at the Senior Center on Northland Drive or anywhere else in the building. Please contact your doctor for an alternative site.”
