Vandal damages bathroom at Veterans Memorial Park: Parma Police Blotter

PARMA, Ohio

Vandalism: State Road

On June 5, police were dispatched to Veterans Memorial Park regarding a vandalism call.

An arriving officer said someone damaged a restroom near the concession and baseball field building.

There are no suspects. Police are investigating.

Drug abuse: Broadview Road

During a June 6 traffic stop of a Ford F150 for a moving violation on Broadview Road, police discovered suspected felony drugs.

The Cleveland driver was arrested for drug abuse.

Stolen vehicle parts: Pearl Road

On June 6, police were dispatched to Tom’s Auto Repair after an employee discovered that a catalytic converter was missing from a Honda Element, which had been left at the Pearl Road garage for service.

There are no suspects. Police are investigating.

Drug abuse: State Road

During a June 7 traffic stop of a Toyota for an equipment violation on State Road, police found suspected felony drugs.

The Parma driver was arrested for drug abuse.

Fraud: South Canterbury Road

On May 31, a South Canterbury Road resident called police after discovering fraudulent charges had been made to their bank account by an unknown person.

There are no suspects. Police are investigating.
