CLEVELAND, Ohio - Median family incomes in Ohio cities range from $221,148 in the Columbus suburb of New Albany to $30,411 in East Cleveland, according to new estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau.

A family, as defined by the census bureau for these statistics, includes at east two related people living together.
After New Albany, the rest of the top five in Ohio are Indian Hill near Cincinnati ($208,158), the Cleveland suburb of Pepper Pike ($162,292) and two Columbus suburbs - Powell at ($147,344) and Dublin ($139,860).
Among Northeast Ohio cities, Hudson is second behind Pepper Pike at $139,764, followed by Brecksville ($124,234), Beachwood ($111,586) and Solon ($111,201).
Not included in this listing are villages - places with fewer than 5,000 people. Margins of error from the census surveys are much higher in those places.

Separately, the Census Bureau releases annual estimates for large cities and counties, but they do not include smaller places.
Shown below are both household and family incomes. Households can be a family, an individual or unrelated people living together. Household incomes tend to be lower in college towns, because the income data for off-campus students is based on their incomes, not their family income at home.
