We'll feature them one by one Monday though Friday through Dec. 24. Consider this the holiday beer tour of December:

Beer: Frosted Frog.

Brewery: Hoppin' Frog, Akron.

ABV: 8.6 percent.

Spices: Cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg with orange peel.

Marc says: A nice brown-sugar taste comes through in this ale, which really should be served in a snifter. If Santa found this instead of milk and cookies, he might not finish his rounds.

Rick says: Hoppin' Frog puts forth an aggressive yet balanced spiced beer. The secret, brewer Fred Karm says, is the malt.
