Acclaimed chef Lidia Bastianich is scheduled to speak and sign her latest cookbook in Parma. Cleveland chef Rocco Whalen also is scheduled to appear at the event.

PARMA, Ohio - Cookbook author and television chef Lidia Bastianich is scheduled to speak and sign "Felidia: Recipes from My Flagship Restaurant" at the Cuyahoga Library Parma-Snow branch next month.

The event is 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21. Joining her will be chef Rocco Whalen, who owns Fahrenheit in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood and has two eateries in Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Bastianich wrote the book with chef Fortunato Nicotra and her daughter, Tanya Bastianich Manuali. The book contains 115 of the restaurant's recipes, including pear and pecorino ravioli, chicken pizzaiola and short ribs braised in Barolo. It is due out Tuesday, Oct. 29 (Alfred A. Knopf, $35).

Felidia, an Italian restaurant, opened in New York City in 1981.

The library is at 2121 Snow Road, Parma.
