CLEVELAND, Ohio – The multiple-session holiday wine show at 750ml Wines is set over two days, plus many tastings are scheduled at Flight wine bar, Cork and Barrel Wine Bar, Western Reserve Wines and many others throughout Greater Cleveland. Through Sunday, Nov. 17: The Capital Grille will feature Wagyu & Wine, Wagyu-beef burgers paired with wines rarely offered by the glass. Cost is $25. (The restaurant’s wine list features more than 350 selections.) It's at 25389 Cedar Road, Legacy Village, Lyndhurst. The offerings:

• Burger with Capital Grille Steak Sauce, grilled onions and Vermont white cheddar. Suggestion: Beringer, Knights Valley Reserve, Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tuesday, Oct. 8: Gervasi Vineyard will hold Flights and Bites, 5:45 or 7:15 p.m. A wine steward will leads guests through three wines paired with three bites. (If you stay for dinner, reservations are recommended.) Cost is $19. It's at 1700 55th St. NE, Canton.

Wednesday, Oct. 9: Michael's Genuine Food and Drink's Wine Down Cleveland offers half-price bottles all day. It's at 3427 Tuttle Road, Van Aken District, Shaker Heights.

Wednesday, Oct. 9: Spice Kitchen + Bar's monthly Wine Wednesday Dinner Series celebrates wines of Burgundy 6:30-9:30 p.m. The five-course meal will pair half-glasses of wine. Cost is $125. It's at 5800 Detroit Ave., Cleveland.

Saturday, Oct. 12: The Autumn Wine Affair will include 10 wineries holding two tasting sessions, 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. (VIP entry includes hour-early admission, wine tote and cheese.) The Ohio Wine Producers Association has partnered with the Exchange Club of Fremont to collect items for the Goodnight Bag Project, which supports at-risk children who are being removed from homes and placed in safe houses. Each "night night" package typically contains a new security blanket, age-appropriate book and stuffed animal in a new canvas tote bag. Donations will be accepted for new children's books, new smaller stuffed animals, small toy cars or items that would fit inside a small bag. Also being accepted: Diapers, wipes, bottles, pacifiers and other infant-support items. Monetary donations also are accepted. Tickets are $25 (admission), $35 (VIP).
