CLEVELAND, Ohio - Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, for Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad's Dinner on the Train excursions for 2020.
Every two-hour ride in the series this year was sold out, the folks at CVSR said in a release.
Rides include four courses, prepared by Nomad Culinary, as passengers take in the park's landscape. Complimentary bar is available; wine is poured throughout the courses. Menus change bi-weekly, and a vegetarian/vegan option is available for substitution upon request.
Excursions depart every Friday from Rockside Station in Independence and select Saturdays from Akron Station at 7 p.m. Boarding begins at 6:30 p.m. for guests to sip a cocktail and munch on appetizers.
Tickets are $100 (table-car seating), $105 (first-class seating) and $120 (dome seating). Cost includes complimentary bar service, ride and four-course dinner.
New for the 2020 season is the addition of another table car to increase capacity. Each dinner excursion now can accommodate 146 passengers.
For tickets, go to cvsr.org/dinner-on-the-train or call 330-439-5708.
