CLEVELAND, Ohio – Each year before the holidays we try to run a guide listing which restaurants are open, closed and booked. Last year Covid restrictions halted our efforts.

But it’s coming back this year.

While many folks are looking forward to the holidays, some may not be in the mood to entertain Uncle Rupert and Aunt Mia and their passel of kids. Other folks might have to work and don’t have much time off, and they want to enjoy a night out. Others might be treated to a fine dinner or casual outing, or want to do the same for someone special.

In any event, we’ll try to have you covered. If you are a restaurant owner and want to be included in our guide, email [email protected] with the following information:

• Business name. Fine dining to casual, brewery to bar, salads to seafood - all are welcome to submit.

• Address of establishment.

• In two or three sentences, describe what is planned. Special menu items? Buffet? Limited hours? Prix fixe options?

• Phone number people can call for questions or reservations.

Some places are open both days, others are closed both. Many are open Christmas Eve but closed Christmas Day. Whatever your case, let us know. And if you are booked already, tell us; we can include that to let readers know.

IMPORTANT: In the subject line, please write CHRISTMAS 2021.

Whatever you decide to do, we hope it’s festive and safe.
