CLEVELAND, Ohio-- “Flash” star Ezra Miller has finally reached a plea agreement with prosecutors on a criminal trespassing charge, stemming from a May 1, 2022, incident in Stamford, Vt. Police charged that Miller had broken into a home there and stole three bottles of liquor.

In a Vermont courtroom on Friday, Miller, who uses they/them pronouns, entered a guilty plea to the criminal trespassing charge to avoid a three-month jail sentence.

The actor was fined $500 fine, given a year of probation, and will be required to undergo continued mental health treatment.

Miller’s attorney, Lisa Shelkrot, issued a recent statement on the actor’s behalf:

“Ezra would like to thank the court and the community for their trust and patience throughout this process, and would once again like to acknowledge the love and support they have received from their family and friends, who continue to be a vital presence in their ongoing mental health.”

The 30-year-old star has appeared in projects like “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and as The Flash in a string of DC’s “Justice League” movies. Miller is still expected to star in the upcoming feature, “The Flash,” despite the legal issues.

A cloud of controversy has followed the actor since last year. Miller was arrested twice earlier this year in Hawaii, including for disorderly conduct and harassment at a karaoke bar. The second incident was for second-degree assault.
