Gingham Market in Lakewood to celebrate second anniversary with Meet the Makers event

LAKEWOOD, Ohio — Gingham Market is celebrating its second anniversary with a Meet the Makers event to bring together its customers and culinary partners.

More than 20 makers behind local brands sold at the artisanal market will show up to the party at 17000 Madison Avenue. Meet the Makers will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 11, with tickets on sale through July 7 on the market’s website.

A general $30 ticket includes samples, treats and a commemorative tote bag alongside entry to the event. For $40, customers can opt to add a wine tasting to their ticket. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Lakewood Community Services Center.

Gingham Market published an extensive list of participating makers from local brands including local favorites like Akron Honey, Cleveland Ketchup Co., Llamacita Sauces and Terranean Herbs & Spices.

The store prioritizes stocking its shelves with locally made and seasonal products, so the event is also a celebration of those partnerships. Davina Rae’s Hot Sauce, Le Cracker, Marchant Manor Cheese, Savoure Kitchen, Sweet Bean Chocolates and more will also be present.

Gingham Market is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and closed on Sundays and Mondays. Aside from its grab-and-go market, the shop hosts culinary events and cooking classes for the public.
