CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio - Alanis Morissette seems largely to be in legacy mode, these days. But it’s quite a legacy.

Her most recent album of new tunes, “Such Pretty Forks In The Road,” was released four years ago and made the Billboard 200 Top 20 and topped the U.S. Top Rock Albums chart. She’s also at least one generation deep into having current pop artists name-checking her as an influence. Her official third album, though it was her debut for most outside of her native Canada, “Jagged Little Pill,” was taken on a successful, though COVID-delayed, 25th anniversary tour and has been transformed into a Tony and Grammy award-winning jukebox musical. She has reached that financially lucrative, if not necessarily creatively satisfying, sweet spot of never having to release another album of new material and still being an integral part of thousands of fans’ musical lives, fans who will happily render legal tender to see and shout-song along with their heroine’s songs.
