Akron RubberDucks unveil new food, beer in the ballpark
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Akron RubberDucks are at it again, with extreme-food menu items being cooked up for for fans in Canal Park this season. Here's a look at what's in store, from food to beer, prices and more.
Anthony Bourdain's Bologna & Cheese
Grilled pistachio mortadella, Great Lakes provolone, Dijon aioli, stuffed in a butter-toasted Kaiser roll. $12.

Triple Decker Chipotle Chicken BLT
Chipotle pulled-pork chicken, apple-cider bacon, garlic aioli, sliced tomato and lettuce on Texas Toast. $10.
Chipotle Chicken Sliders
Chipotle barbecue pulled-chicken sliders with apple-cider bacon, pickled red onion and garlic aioli. $10.
OBJ Dog
Welcome to town, Odell Beckham Jr. This is your dog. Comes with Louisiana Hot Sauce and topped with onion-bacon-jalapeno relish. $7. This replaces the Thanks, Joe! loaded brat-and-cheese meal, an extreme-food hat tip to another beloved Cleveland athlete, Joe Thomas.
WONE Bavarian Rhapsody
Extra-long beer-braised Austrian sausage link stuffed inside a Bavarian pretzel bun, dipped in Dijon cheese sauce, garnished with crispy potatoes. $11. This replaces an extreme item from last year, the Notorious P.I.G.
Duck & Donuts
RubberDucks owner Ken Babby and general manager Jim Pfander took in a St. Paul Saints game. "We kept looking for that next thing," Pfander said. When they walked into the stadium they could smell the wafting aroma of fresh doughnuts. "The smells were intoxicating," he said. Duck & Donuts was born. They come five in a bag - plain, glazed, cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar. $7.

Five local breweries have drafts added to Jobu's Craft Beers - Ignite Brewing Co. from Barberton, Canton Brewing Co., Hop Tree Brewing from Hudson, R. Shea Brewing from Akron and Lock 15 from Akron.
Play ball!
The Akron RubberDucks' home opener is 6:35 p.m. Thursday, April 4, vs. Altoona with AC/DC-themed fireworks, Thirsty Thursday promotion and magnet schedule giveaway.
Walk-up window
A walk-up window was introduced during the season last year. It's by the right-field concourse and is meant for group merchandise pickup as well as for folks who want to buy a Duck bubble blaster, a popular seller last year.
Concession guide
A concession guide will be posted just inside the main gate and the copies will be given out for those who want them so you can locate which foods are served where.
At the ballpark
The Class AA Akron RubberDucks play in Canal Park, 300 S. Main St., Akron. Pay parking is in area lots and garages. Note: There's some metered street parking, although Main Street is under construction.
