CLEVELAND, Ohio -- It's a brisk morning in the Cleveland area, but temperatures will warm to the mid-40s today with partly sunny skies.
Clouds will move into the region by tonight, and it will remain mostly cloudy on Tuesday. There also will be a chance of showers on Wednesday.
Highs will remain above normal this week: It reached 49 on Sunday and highs eventually will reach the mid-50s by later in the week, and could flirt with the 60s this weekend.
Here's the seven-day forecast from the National Weather Service:
Monday: Partly sunny with a high near 45. Light and variable wind becoming west around 5 mph in the morning. Mostly cloudy overnight with a low around 34. Light and variable wind becoming south around 6 mph after midnight.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 46. South wind 8 to 14 mph. Mostly cloudy Tuesday night with a low around 40. South wind around 14 mph.
Wednesday: A chance of showers, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy with a high near 50. Breezy with a south wind 16 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a 10th of an inch possible. Mostly cloudy Wednesday night with a low around 41.
Thursday: Partly sunny with a high near 52. A chance of showers Thursday night. Mostly cloudy with a low around 44. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
Friday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a high near 55. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Mostly cloudy overnight with a low around 48.
Saturday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a high near 59. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. A chance of showers Saturday night. Mostly cloudy with a low around 51. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
Sunday: Showers likely. Cloudy with a high near 55. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
