Cleveland police investigating shooting outside strip club

Cleveland police are investigating after a man was shot early Monday outside Secrets Gentlemen's Club on Brookpark Road.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland police are investigating an attempted robbery and shooting outside a West Side strip club that left a man injured.

Gunfire erupted about 2:30 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of Secrets Gentlemen's Club on Brookpark Road in the Bellaire-Puritas neighborhood.

The victim told police that he was walking to his car when a vehicle -- possibly a white truck -- pulled up next to him. One of the men inside pulled out a gun.

"Give me what you got," the gunman said, according to what the victim told police.

The gunman fired several shots. The victim was struck once in the armpit before the  vehicle sped away, according to police.

Paramedics took the man to MetroHealth. His condition is unknown.

No suspects have been identified. No arrests have been made.
