Rainy and breezy: Northeast Ohio’s Wednesday weather forecast (Dec. 30)

Northeast Ohio will see rain throughout the day on Wednesday with rain changing to snow during the overnight hours. (cleveland.com)

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Expect windy conditions throughout the morning hours with gusts as high as 32 mph in parts of Northeast Ohio.

The National Weather Service’s forecast calls for highs around 44 on Wednesday with rain likely throughout the day. Overnight lows will dip back into the 20s, causing the rain to transition to snow after midnight.

NYE looks to be cold and cloudy with highs only around freezing and a chance for snow showers to return after midnight to welcome in the new year.
