Kent State finds no evidence that hackers breached system in SolarWinds attack

Kent State University has found no evidence that its systems were hacked as part of a widespread software breach involving SolarWinds Orion.

KENT, Ohio – Kent State University announced Wednesday it has found no evidence that hackers used malware to access the university’s network.

In an email to students, faculty and staff, Kent State said it is working with cyber security consultants to prevent future potential hacks, and that the team has not seen any indications of unauthorized access to university systems or sensitive data.
