Bedford police, U.S. marshals search for suspect accused of murdering woman

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Bedford Police Department and U.S. marshals are searching for a suspect they said killed a woman Saturday.

Seritha Ballantyne, 45, was shot about 2:20 a.m., at a home on Natalie and Center roads in Bedford, according to police and the office of the Cuyahoga County medical examiner. When officers arrived at the home, they found Ballantyne in an upstairs bedroom with a gunshot wound to the head.
