CLEVELAND, Ohio – A U.S. marshals task force Tuesday arrested two men in Cleveland Heights on murder charges.

Shawntell Ellis, 29, was wanted by the Bedford Heights Police Department in the deaths of brothers Joshua Cunningham, 21, and Dominic Cunningham 22, both of Solon. Ellis is accused of shooting them on Oct. 7 in the parking lot of The Touch of Italy, a restaurant and bar located in Bedford Heights.

Members with the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Ellis at a home in the 12300 block of Cedar Avenue.

While at the address, task force officers arrested Eric Harris, who was wanted by East Cleveland police on charges of aggravated murder, felonious assault and the discharge of firearm on or near prohibited premises. Harris, 33, is accused of fatally shooting Damien Cook, 44, in the chest on Oct. 28 in the 15000 block of Elderwood Avenue.

Authorities also recovered two firearms from the residence.

“Today the family members of the slain brothers are one step closer to justice after the arrest of this wanted fugitive,” U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said of Ellis.
