CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland police told WKYC that a woman died early Sunday morning after her car crashed into a traffic barrier on Interstate 90.
The woman, 55, was not identified by police, WKYC reports. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A Cleveland police sergeant told the station that she was driving eastbound on I-90 in Cleveland and veered for “unknown reasons” into the barrier at 2:45 a.m. Sunday.
The vehicle hit the barrier head-on and was forced off the roadway, up an embankment and into a fence, according to WKYC.
Police are investigating the crash.
