COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Perhaps the worst kept secret in Ohio State football recruiting was confirmed on Tuesday night when four-star receiver Kamryn Babb announced his commitment to the Buckeyes.

Babb, the No. 65 overall player player in the country, had long been considered a strong lean. He made that official on Tuesday with a video posted to his public Twitter account.

The St. Louis product is the No. 12 receiver prospect in the 2018 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports composite ratings. Babb is the 20th commitment in Ohio State's top-ranked 2018 recruiting class.

He's the second receiver commit in this class, joining four-star Dayton prospect L'Christian Smith.

Babb chose the Buckeyes over offers from Michigan, Oklahoma, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Miami, Michigan State, Notre Dame and a slew of others. He had an extensive offer sheet, but took just one visit this fall -- an official visit to Ohio State on Oct. 28 for the Penn State game.

The 6-foot-1, 189-pound receiver prospect missed his senior at Christian Brothers College due to a torn ACL. You can watch Babb's junior highlights below:
