CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Clemson and Miami are playing tonight for the ACC Championship at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The Hurricanes will make their first ACC title-game appearance since joining the league in 2003. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. and the game will be shown on ABC.

Clemson (11-1), the defending national champion, is ranked No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings. Miami (10-1) is No. 7. Clemson, favored by 10 points, is going for its third consecutive ACC title and third straight berth in the playoff.

Miami (10-1) is coming off an upset loss at Pittsburgh.

The winner will lock up a spot in the College Football Playoff, which will announce its pairings Sunday afternoon. Alabama, with one loss, and Ohio State, with two losses, will be keenly interested in the outcome as they hope to capture a spot.
