Ohio State football kicks off Michigan week with marching band practice: Buckeye Breakfast

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- It’s an annual tradition for The Best Damn Band in the Land to visit with the football team to kick off Michigan week.

This year’s edition featured a handful of interesting moments. But none was bigger than offensive lineman Dawand Jones getting the chance to conduct the band for the playing of “Across the Field.” He wasn’t half bad at it, but the 6-foot-8, 360-pound freshman is still probably better suited as a left tackle than a band conductor. At least for the time being.
