GLENDALE, Ariz. -- K.J. Hill became Ohio State football’s all-time receptions leader thanks to his week-in, week-out consistency and reliability.
That legacy added another measurement on Saturday against Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl. A reception on the game’s first place from scrimmage gave Hill a catch in 48 straight games, tying the record Gary Williams set in his early 80s playing career.
Hill entered the game with a program-best 195 receptions for 2,265 yards and 20 touchdowns.
