COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State football will play in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl for the ninth time when it faces Clemson on Dec. 28 as part of the College Football Playoff.
The Buckeyes are 5-3 in the game with its most recent appearance coming in 2016 when they lost to the Tigers 31-0. That game also served as a semifinal location for the College Football Playoff. This will be the fourth time the two teams will have played in a bowl game against each other.
Ohio State has released the ticket options for both the semifinal game on Dec. 28 along with the National Championship Game on Jan. 13. Here are the options available for Buckeye fans according to a release by OSU:
• Priority (Donor) Requests: Priority ordering for donor groups, season ticket holders, and Varsity O Football members is ongoing, and the deadline to submit requests is Tuesday, December 10 at 5 p.m. for the Fiesta Bowl, and Tuesday, December 17 at 5 p.m. for the National Championship Game. Detailed instructions were emailed to these groups in mid-November.
• Faculty, staff and student requests: Information regarding faculty, staff and student ticket ordering processes was emailed to eligible ticket holders Sunday evening. The deadline to submit requests is Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 5 p.m. for the Fiesta Bowl, and Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 5 p.m. for the National Championship Game.
• General public requests: Public ticket waitlists are open now for both the Playstation Fiesta Bowl and the CFP National Championship game. Members of the public who request tickets are entering a waitlist for seats in the Ohio State allotment of tickets. Waitlist requests, if fulfilled, will be assigned seats in the Ohio State sections based on when orders are received.
